MIT Hacker's Dictionary

The MIT Hacker's dictionary was created by a group of hackers at MIT in 1988 to get outsiders acclimated to the vernacular they use. I was interested in using this dictionary as a way to enhance my personal practice. I picked one word for each letter and made a swiss style poster with both the graphic and typographic elements emulating the meaning of the word.

Hover over each image to see its meaning.
